Leeds College of Art Grad (2014), Maria Brozozwska is as an illustrator and visual storyteller. Now based in Turkey. This is her first solo show and is advertised as "a collection of works depicting scenes where reality and fantasy merge, creating a whole new world of magical realism".
Her work reminds me of the Surrealist movement and Salvador Dali, exploring multiple realms of possibilities on one page, exploring a range of illustrative techniques and concepts. One can only assume she is projecting her own thoughts and feelings into her art as no commercial work is found from her online.
Utilising the social platforms I had available I decided to research and contact her, being an LCA alumni, to find out her experience from LCA. It was really rewarding to get a reply from Maria and briefly talk to her. Since these emails I responded thanking her , yet have received no reply.
